My Research Interests

My major research interest is about algebraic number theory , arithmetic of function fields and Drinfeld modules. I am also interested in arithmetic geometry and its related areas. Recently, I have done some work with my graduate students on automorphic forms and algebraic curves. I also organize a seminar on computational number theory.

In 1996, I put forward a conjecture on Galois module structure of sign-cohomology of universal distributions of global function fields in the paper: Index-class number formulas over global function fields, Compositio Math., 1997. In the next year, it was solved by Prof. Greg W. Anderson at the University of Minnesota at Twin Cities. The details of this problem are HERE.
